Piano lessons in Manchester. Playing the piano is a valuable skill to have at any age; therefore, we offer one-to-one piano lessons for kids as well as for adults. Regardless of how old you are, and irrespective of your musical experience, the piano is the perfect opportunity to really hone your talents.
Our piano lessons for beginners start from the very basics (a very good place to start…) so you don’t need any musical experience. Moreover, all you need to do is come prepared to have fun and learn a lot! We cater for all levels and teach both Classical and contemporary/popular music. We have a 50/50 mix of adults and children. All lessons are 121.
Maunder’s School of Popular Music is all about bringing lots of different genres to life and the piano is no exception. We offer lessons in all styles of music including pop, rock, blues and funk with a healthy balance of music theory thrown in. Learning all these different styles will rapidly improve your playing and general musicality, thus making the most of all that our piano teachers have to offer!

Once through the gates of Wilsons park/Biz space we are straight ahead, 3rd building on the left opposite the MOT garage. Staircase on the outside. Parking at the front and side of our building.
Parking
Student Parking is free but students driving in need to scan the Parking Eye QR code to avoid a £100 fine. QR codes are found in our reception.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your arranged lesson, you must give 24 hours notice prior to the start-time of your lesson to avoid a full cancellation charge. However, late cancellations will incur a full charge, unfortunately, regardless of the circumstances.
Future lessons cannot be scheduled until payment is made for any cancelled lessons within 24 hours. Booking a lesson with Maunder’s School Of Popular Music reserves a slot for you and the teacher at an agreed time and day, enabling the teacher to fill the slot in case of cancellation and avoid loss of earnings.
Refund Policy
Refunds cannot be given for all or part of any block booking already made. By signing up to a block booking you are receiving a discounted rate, which cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
