Lets write a song! You don’t even need to play an instrument or to have written a song before. You will sit with a songwriter and share ideas and be guided through the process.

This is a great gift for a loved one. Write a song for an anniversary, birthday, wedding or special day.
The Process
During our session we will sit down and discuss who the song is for and what you would like it to be about. You will be sat with the songwriter and involved in all parts of the process.
During our free 30-minute taster session we will go though details about what you would like your song to be about, style of music and any lyric ideas you want to include. Don’t worry if you have no ideas we will go though this together. Our goal is to make your song as personal as possible.
Session 1 (60 Minutes) – In a single song writing session we will get the basics of the song content and aim to write music (Basic chord pattern) for the song. We will also aim to get some of the lyrics down. Usually this will be one verse and one chorus. After session 1 we will make a rough recording of the song on a smart phone and send it to you. This will give you a rough idea of what we’ve done so far. We will also write down the chords for you.
Session 2 (60 Minutes) – During session 2 we will review everything we did in session 1 and play back what we have done. We will then write more of the verses and aim to complete the basic structure of the song. At the end of session 2 who might have a rough song completed and most of the lyrics complete. In some cases if its a simple song we may have it all complete. We will again make a rough recording on a smart phone to send to you. This is mostly so we don’t forget anything and as a record of what we’ve done so far.
Session 3 (60 Minutes) – Session 3 we will attempt to complete the song. We will complete any lyrics and melody as well as the full song structure. We will again make a rough recording on a smart phone to send to you. This is mostly so we don’t forget anything and as a record of what we’ve done so far. If time we can also record the song in session 3 in ‘demo form’, making a good quality recording of the song with vocals and guitar. If we have not had time to do this in session 3 it will be recorded by the songwriter in the week after the session and sent as a file share.
Extra session – If needed we will add an extra 30-minute session on for free. Usually done if the song has taken a bit of work to get completed.
