What lessons are like

Cecilia’s lessons are tailored to each student, but always include a clear plan so progress feels obvious (and practice at home is less of a battle).

Beginners will learn: rhythm, reading music, hand position, coordination + simple songs that keep them motivated.
Improvers will build: smoother playing, better timing, stronger technique, and more musical confidence.
Grades (1–8): Cecilia can support students working towards graded exams with steady, no-panic preparation.

Cecilia can also support students who want to follow the ABRSM piano grade pathway (Grades 1–8), building the skills step-by-step in a clear, confidence-boosting way. Lessons can cover the core areas ABRSM assesses—repertoire, scales and arpeggios, sight-reading, and aural skills—with a practical practice plan each week so progress feels steady (and exam prep doesn’t turn into last-minute stress).

Great for adults too

Although most of Cecilia’s students are children, she also teaches a small number of adults—some of whom have stayed with her for years—because her approach is calm, clear, and confidence-building.
