I am a professional vocalist and vocal coach with over five years of teaching experience, working with students from as young as five through to retired adults. I teach singers of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced performers wanting to brush up on their technique!
If you want your vocal lessons to be a bit more educational, or just want a goal to work towards, I have extensive experience preparing students for Rockschool Vocal examinations from Debut to Grade 8.

I specialise in pop, rock, jazz, soul, and musical theatre. My teaching philosophy focuses on healthy, sustainable vocal use and building confidence through clear, practical techniques. I am trained in Estill Vocal Technique, and use this methodology in my lessons to allow me to break down vocal technique into clear, practical, and easy to understand concepts even for beginners. Lessons are always tailored to each student’s goals, whether that is exam preparation, performance development, or personal enjoyment!

I am also a proficient pianist and encourage singers in learning to accompany themselves. For musical theatre students, I have experience helping build repertoire folders and preparing for auditions and showreels. My musical qualifications include GCSE Music, BTEC Music Performance, Grade 8 Vocals, Grade 5 Piano, and a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music, as well as a Certificate in Estill Vocal Technique.

Ellie also has training in Special Educational needs and disabilities in the classroom making her an excellent choice for our Neuro Diverse students.
